Our talented and efficient injection mould design experts have a range of experience when it comes to injection moulding, toolmaking, and rapid prototyping. They can take a simple concept and turn it into a fully-fledged prototype. Our team of design engineers can work with most CAD (computer aided design) packages for data transfer, 2D drawings, free-hand sketches, or an initial informal meeting in which we can discuss your requirements and specifications. Their experience in precision engineering helps them create a mould design for even the most challenging projects.  


We can then produce a prototype mould, using a variety of different formats.  


These formats include fused deposition modelling (FDM), which is a widely used form of 3D printing, stereolithography (SLA), which is a plastic 3D printing process using thermoset liquid, which is UV-cured in layers, and selective laser sintering (SLS), which is an industrial 3D printing process that uses a laser to sinter small particles of polymer powder together.  


The prototypes developed by the design team can then be used for functionality testing and ergonomics, so that adjustments can be made to ensure full efficiency before any design is manufactured.  


The data that we supply at all stages belongs to our clients, with a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement before data is exchanged.
